IRONMAN 4×4 offers three main Prado 250 configurations:

Full Height 4×4 Drawer Kit – Slide Top

This configuration includes:

• 1 × Full Height 850 mm Fixed Top Drawer
• 1 × Full Height 850 mm Sliding Top Drawer
• 1 × Prado 250 Vehicle-Specific Wing Kit

The sliding-top drawer provides a practical mounting area for a fridge or heavy storage equipment and is rated to 100 kg when fully extended.

Mixed Height 4×4 Drawer Kit – LHS Slide

This configuration includes:

• Left-hand mid-height sliding-top drawer
• Right-hand full-height fixed-top drawer
• Left-hand infill panel
• Vehicle-specific wing kit

This layout is useful when you want one side dedicated to a fridge or larger equipment while retaining additional vertical storage on the opposite side.

Mixed Height 4×4 Drawer Kit – RHS Slide

This configuration includes:

• Left-hand full-height fixed-top drawer
• Right-hand mid-height sliding-top drawer
• Right-hand infill panel
• Vehicle-specific wing kit

The sliding-top drawer can be used for mounting a fridge or other heavy storage equipment.

The IRONMAN 4×4 Roller Drawer System uses a combination of 6051-T5 and diecast aluminium, helping reduce system weight while maintaining a strong and practical storage platform.

IRONMAN states that its aluminium drawer systems are approximately 20–25% lighter than a comparable twin full-height steel drawer system.

This is particularly useful on a Prado 250 touring build where drawer systems, fridges, recovery equipment and other accessories all contribute to the vehicle’s overall payload.

Full-Extension Roller Drawers

The drawers use a heavy-duty roller-bearing slide system designed for smooth operation and regular use.

The full-extension design allows the drawer to pull out completely, making it easier to access equipment stored towards the rear or front of the drawer.

A lock-out mechanism helps keep the drawer extended when working on an incline or uneven ground.

Integrated LED Lighting

Integrated LED strip lighting runs inside the drawers, helping illuminate stored equipment when accessing the Prado after dark.

This is particularly useful when setting up camp, accessing recovery equipment or finding smaller items in low-light conditions.

T-Slot Channels & Anchors

The drawers feature T-Slot channels running along the drawer, providing flexible tie-down and mounting points for equipment such as:

Black Mottled Carpet

Vehicle-Specific Wing Kit

Each Prado 250 configuration includes a vehicle-specific wing kit designed to integrate the drawer system into the rear cargo area.

This provides a cleaner finished installation and makes better use of the available space around the drawers.

Fridge & Touring Setup

The sliding-top drawer is particularly useful for a touring fridge or heavy storage box.

IRONMAN’s dedicated fridge slide is rated to 60 kg and is designed to accommodate most fridges up to approximately 50L, subject to the exact fridge dimensions and installation configuration.

Load Capacity

The sliding-top drawer is rated to 100 kg when fully extended. IRONMAN’s general roller-drawer information states a 120 kg load rating per full-height drawer, with 240 kg combined for two full-height drawers.

These are drawer-system ratings and must not be confused with the Prado 250’s vehicle payload capacity.

The total weight of the drawer system, fridge, passengers, fuel, recovery equipment, camping equipment and all other accessories must remain within Toyota’s permitted vehicle payload and axle-load limits.

Do not assume a drawer system designed for the Prado 150 or another Toyota SUV will fit the Prado 250.
