The Hilux Vigo D4D remains a popular platform for work, touring, farming, fleet and 4×4 applications.

The Zambezi Twin Drawer System makes better use of the available load-bin space by providing dedicated, secure storage without requiring equipment to be stacked loose in the vehicle.

The two-drawer layout allows frequently used equipment to be separated into different storage areas, making it easier to access equipment without unloading the entire load bin.

Two Full-Length Lockable Drawers

The Zambezi system uses two side-by-side drawers, with each drawer capable of carrying up to 150 kg when evenly distributed.

Both drawers are:

The sealed roller-bearing system is particularly suited to vehicles that regularly operate in dusty and off-road environments.

Carpeted Interior & Top

The drawers are fully carpeted inside and on the exterior-facing surfaces.

The system uses a 12 mm carpeted Superwood deck, with 720g ribbed carpet and 180g trunk liner as part of the construction. This helps reduce rattling and protects equipment from chafing and movement while travelling over rough terrain.

Removable Side Panels

The side trim panels can be removed to provide access to useful storage space around the Hilux wheel arches.

This makes it possible to use additional areas of the load bin that would otherwise be difficult to access.

Fridge-Compatible Touring Setup

The wider left-hand drawer is designed to accommodate a fridge setup, with Big Country stating compatibility with fridges up to 90L, subject to the actual fridge dimensions and available configuration.

A Zambezi Fridge Cage and fridge sliders are available as optional accessories.

Hilux Cab Configuration

The Zambezi Twin Drawer System is available for:

• Double Cab

The Single Cab and Extra Cab configurations use 1470 mm long drawers and include an extension top between the drawer system and the cab. The extension section can be lifted to access the additional storage space underneath.

Important – Select the Correct Cab Configuration

Please specify the exact Hilux cab configuration when requesting a quotation or placing an order.

Single Cab, Extra Cab and Double Cab drawer configurations are not automatically interchangeable.

Load Capacity

The Zambezi Twin Drawer System is rated for:

• 150 kg per drawer
• 250 kg on top of the drawer system

The drawer rating applies to evenly distributed loads.

These ratings are for the drawer system only and must not be confused with the Hilux’s overall vehicle payload, axle-load limits or manufacturer’s load specifications.

Always remain within the Toyota Hilux’s applicable vehicle payload and axle limits.

Existing Load-Bin Modifications

If your Hilux already has an aftermarket canopy, roller shutter, tonneau cover, load-bin liner, fridge slide, sports bar, drawer system, flooring or other load-bin accessories fitted, please specify this in the order notes when requesting a quotation or placing an order.
