Choose Your Drawer Configuration

The IRONMAN Roller Drawer System for the Hilux GD6 2016-2025 is available in three main configurations.

1. Full Height 4×4 Drawer Kit – Slide Top

This configuration includes:

• One full-height fixed-top drawer
• One full-height sliding-top drawer
• Vehicle-specific wing kit

The sliding-top drawer provides a convenient platform for mounting a fridge, storage box or other heavy equipment while keeping it accessible from the rear of the Hilux.

IRONMAN rates the sliding top to 100 kg when fully extended.

2. Mixed Height 4×4 Drawer Kit – LHS Slide

This configuration includes:

• Left-hand side mid-height sliding-top drawer
• Right-hand side full-height fixed-top drawer
• Vehicle-specific wing kit
• Left-side drawer infill panel

The LHS sliding configuration is particularly useful where you want a fridge or other equipment positioned on the left side of the load bay.

3. Mixed Height 4×4 Drawer Kit – RHS Slide

This configuration reverses the sliding arrangement:

• Right-hand side mid-height sliding-top drawer
• Left-hand side full-height fixed-top drawer
• Vehicle-specific wing kit
• Right-side drawer infill panel

This provides the same practical storage concept while allowing the sliding drawer to be positioned on the preferred side of the vehicle. IRONMAN currently lists this configuration specifically for the Hilux.

Built Around the Hilux GD6

The Toyota Hilux GD6 2018-2025 is the new-generation Hilux and should not automatically be treated as the same fitment as earlier Hilux GD6/Revo models.

Sliding-Top Drawer

The sliding-top drawer is designed to provide convenient access to heavier equipment.

It is particularly useful for:

The sliding platform is rated to 100 kg when fully extended, according to IRONMAN 4×4’s current product information.

Important Load Notice

The 100 kg sliding-top rating is a drawer-system component rating.

It must not be interpreted as the maximum payload of the Hilux GD6 or as permission to exceed the vehicle’s payload or axle-load limits.

The combined weight of the drawer system, fridge, equipment, passengers, canopy and other accessories must remain within Toyota’s applicable vehicle limits.

Lightweight Aluminium Construction

IRONMAN uses diecast aluminium construction throughout the roller drawer range to reduce unnecessary weight while maintaining a strong storage system.

IRONMAN states that its aluminium drawer systems are approximately 20–25% lighter than comparable twin full-height steel drawer systems.

This can be particularly useful on a touring vehicle where every kilogram of payload matters.

Black Mottled Carpet

The drawers are finished in black mottled carpet, selected for durability and slip resistance.

IRONMAN identifies the carpet as an Australian-made fibre-bonded polypropylene material designed to help prevent equipment stored on top of the drawers from sliding around.

The carpeted finish also gives the drawer system a clean, integrated appearance within the Hilux load bay.

T-Slot Channels & Anchors

The drawers incorporate T-slot channels running along the drawer, providing flexible mounting points for securing fridges, storage boxes and other equipment.

This allows the storage system to be configured around the customer’s touring or work requirements rather than relying solely on fixed mounting positions.

Integrated LED Lighting

Each drawer incorporates an integrated LED strip light running along the inside of the drawer.

This provides additional visibility when accessing equipment at night, particularly useful when camping, touring or working in remote areas.

Security & Lock-Out System

Full-height drawers feature security locks to help protect stored equipment.

The IRONMAN roller-bearing system also incorporates a lock-out mechanism, helping keep an extended drawer securely in position when the vehicle is parked or positioned on an incline.

Vehicle-Specific Wing Kit

Each Hilux GD6 configuration incorporates a vehicle-specific wing kit designed to provide a cleaner integration around the drawer system and load bay.

This helps make better use of the available cargo space while creating a more finished installation.
