Important – D-Max Gen6 vs Gen7

This product is for the Isuzu D-Max Gen7 Double Cab 2023+.

Big Country lists the previous-generation D-Max Gen6 Double Cab separately as 2017–2022. A 2022 D-Max should therefore not automatically be assumed to accept the Gen7 drawer system.

Please confirm the exact model year and generation before ordering.

If your D-Max is a 2022 model, please contact HJM Offroad so the correct Gen6 drawer application can be confirmed.

Two Full-Length Lockable Drawers

The Zambezi system uses two side-by-side drawers that extend along the available load-bin length.

Each drawer has a published 150 kg evenly distributed load capacity, providing substantial storage capacity for recovery equipment, tools, camping gear, work equipment and other vehicle essentials.

The drawer locking mechanism also allows the drawers to remain secured when open or closed.

Carpeted Top & Interior

The Zambezi Twin Drawer System features a 12 mm carpeted Superwood top, with 720g ribbed carpet and 180g trunk liner used in the construction.

The carpeted finish helps reduce rattling and protects equipment from chafing and movement when travelling over gravel roads and rough terrain.

The flat top also creates a practical platform for additional luggage, storage cases and touring equipment.

Wheel-Arch Storage

Removable side trim panels provide access to additional storage around the D-Max’s wheel arches.

This makes it possible to use otherwise difficult-to-access areas of the load bin for smaller equipment and accessories.

Fridge-Ready Touring Setup

The wider left-hand drawer is designed to accommodate a fridge installation, with Big Country stating compatibility with fridges up to 90L National Luna, subject to the actual fridge dimensions and configuration.

The system’s modular left-hand decking can accommodate a fridge setup and an optional Zambezi Fridge Cage.

Load Capacity

The Big Country Zambezi Twin Drawer System is rated at:

• 150 kg per drawer
• 250 kg on top of the drawer system

The 150 kg drawer rating is based on an evenly distributed load.

These ratings apply to the drawer system itself and must not be confused with the overall payload capacity of the Isuzu D-Max.

Always remain within the vehicle manufacturer’s specified:

Existing Load-Bin Modifications
