Toyota Hilux Vigo Gobi Skid Plate
The Gobi-X skid plate is designed by our in-house draughtsman in Solidworks. These highly popular items fit to all vehicles using only OEM bolting points. (No drilling required.) Gobi-X skid plates are manufactured using Marine Grade 5182 aluminium for increased strength while still maintaining the weight saving benefits of using aluminium. (Up to 10kgs lighter than equivalent steel units.)
5182 Aluminium is also highly corrosion resistant for increase durability. All fitment hardware and instructions are supplied.

The underbody of your vehicle is highly vulnerable when driving offroad. Traditionally the OE protection plates are simply not good enough to keep items like diffs, sump and steering components safe from rock bash or accident damage. To improve this protection Gobi-X Manufacturing has designed a range of marine grade aluminium skid plates to protect these vulnerable parts of your vehicle.
Lightweight and strong, our aluminium skid plates use factory mounting points to ensure ease of fitment. This is an essential piece of kit when out there taming the great outdoors!
