The Hamer Underbody Protection system is manufactured from 3 mm thick steel and finished in Hamer’s distinctive matt red powder coating for durability and corrosion protection.

Comprehensive Underbody Protection

The Hamer 3-piece system is designed to provide more extensive protection than a single front bash plate.

Hamer describes its protection system as consisting of the front bash plate, which protects the front vital underbody components, together with the underbody protection plates, which extend protection to the remaining vulnerable areas underneath the vehicle.

For customers regularly travelling off-road, the 3-piece system provides a more comprehensive level of protection than fitting only the front bash plate.

4WD ONLY

This product is specifically for 4WD models.

It is not intended for 2WD D-Max models unless fitment has been specifically confirmed.

3 mm Steel Construction

The Hamer underbody protection plates are manufactured from 3 mm thick steel, providing a robust protective barrier underneath the vehicle.

The matt red powder-coated finish provides additional protection to the steel while giving the system Hamer’s distinctive appearance.

• 4WD models only.
• Confirm the exact vehicle year and specification before ordering.
• Hamer’s compatibility information identifies the D20 underbody application for Isuzu D-Max 2020–2023 and D-Max 2024+.
• Current Hamer Africa listings separately identify D-Max/V-Cross 2026+ models, so the exact 2026+ vehicle specification should be confirmed when ordering.
• Existing aftermarket accessories may affect fitment.
• If the vehicle has an aftermarket exhaust, long-range fuel tank, suspension modification, bull bar or other underbody modification, fitment must be checked before installation.

Important: Aftermarket Exhausts & Long-Range Tanks

Before fitment, the customer must advise HJM Offroad if the vehicle has any non-standard exhaust system, aftermarket fuel tank or other underbody modification.

Clearance around the protection plates must be checked before installation.

Additional or modified underbody components may require fitment confirmation before the booking is accepted.

Bash Plate Sold Separately

The Hamer 3-piece underbody protection system should not be confused with the separate Hamer front Bash Plate.

The Bash Plate is the front protection component, while the 3-piece system provides additional underbody coverage. Hamer lists these as separate products.

Hamer Bash Plate sold separately unless specifically included in the selected package.
