Built for the Fortuner D4D

The Fortuner D4D is widely used for family touring, 4×4 travel, farming, hunting, safari and overlanding.

The Savute Twin Drawer System turns the rear load area into a more organised storage platform, allowing recovery equipment, tools, camping gear and personal equipment to be separated into dedicated compartments.

The full-length drawers also make equipment stored towards the front of the load area easier to access without having to unload everything from the vehicle.

Two Full-Length Lockable Drawers

The system features two side-by-side drawers, each with a published load capacity of 80 kg.

Both drawers are fully carpeted and use heavy-duty telescopic stainless-steel bearing slides for smooth operation and full-length access.

Each drawer is lockable with the supplied keys, helping keep equipment secured when the vehicle is parked or when travelling away from camp.

Carpeted Interior & Top

The drawers are fully carpeted inside and out to help reduce noise and protect stored equipment from damage caused by movement, chafing and rattling on rough roads.

The system uses a 12 mm carpeted Superwood top, creating a practical flat cargo surface for luggage, storage boxes and other touring equipment.

Wheel-Arch Storage

The side panels wedge into position and can be lifted to access useful storage areas around the Fortuner’s wheel arches.

This provides additional practical storage without requiring the main drawers to be used for smaller items.

Fridge & Touring Setup

A fridge slider can be mounted to the carpeted top of the Savute Twin Drawer System, making the Fortuner suitable for longer touring and overlanding trips.

Fridge slider is an additional product and is not included unless specifically selected.

Vehicle-Specific Fitment

The Big Country Savute Twin Drawer System is designed around the Fortuner’s existing mounting points.

The Toyota Fortuner D4D 2005–2015 requires the pre-2016 mounting configuration.

Big Country specifically states that vehicles newer than 2016 use a different mounting system, so the correct vehicle year must be selected when ordering.

Important – Fortuner D4D vs GD6

Do not assume that the mounting system for a 2016+ Toyota Fortuner GD6 is interchangeable with the 2005–2015 Fortuner D4D.

The correct pre-2016 mounting system must be supplied for this application.

Existing Aftermarket Interior Modifications

If your Fortuner already has an aftermarket interior system, flooring, third-row seat modification, fridge platform, storage system or other load-area accessories fitted, please specify this in the order notes when requesting a quotation or placing an order.
